Amit Rathore

In 2008, Amit designed and ran a large scale AI called Runa, which was an “Amazon-AI -as-a-Service” for all online  retailers  of  all  sizes.  By  the  time  Runa was acquired by Staples in 2013, it was powering eBay, Groupon, Staples, and many others around the world. Amit was appointed VP Global e-Commerce and was tasked with applying AI across $20B+ of annual sales.

In fall of 2014, Amit left to start Quintype, another large scale AI that powers the likes of Fortune and Bloomberg. Today it powers billions of monthly page views and social interactions across the Internet, and is projected to cross 500M shoppers in 2021, on the way to 2B monthly visitors by 2024.

In early 2019, Amit started AwakeVC, or Awakened Value Co-creation, a tech-enabled PE firm based on the design of a new unique AI innovation called Opentangle, which creates the largest arbitrage opportunity on the Internet, in every industry that leverages commissions-driven sales. Awake harnesses this energy by manifesting an ecosystem of interconnected platforms for the future of work, life, and play, enabling modern consumption – a $100T market globally.

All of “Big Tech” has been built on top of the fact that no one can track attribution across internet platforms. A handful of such companies are now worth multiple trillions of dollars. When you suddenly change the very underlying assumptions, it produces an incredible opportunity to create (and lose) wealth.

Shoptype applies this new approach to seeing attribution of creators and influencers across all platforms of the internet, thereby turning the whole online multiverse into a single interconnected free market, controlled programmatically by anyone who launches a network powered by Shoptype.

Opentangle is akin to a global secure neural network, representing quantum untangling of data and intelligence, giving rise to the possibility of knowledge, and to universal consciousness.

Awake and Opentangle represent a new paradigm of business models.

Amit is a LISPer and wrote Clojure in Action in 2011. During this time in 2012, Amit sold his first AI/ML business to a very famous American management consulting firm.

In his non-existent spare time, Amit is writing Beyond All Clouds, or How the Actual Internet was Rediscovered, and the iRealization books describing his process of meditation and awakening.

John Rowland

John Rowland is the president and co-founder of S²A Modular. A visionary with a passion for designing homes, hotels, and multi-family buildings to a new standard of sustainability– John’s career had focused on land entitlement, land development and development feasibility analysis. In most recent years, he has shifted to a primary focus of engineering the most advanced self-sufficient homes in the world – paving the way to his success in building the second  off-grid  Tesla Powerwall-powered   smart   home in the United States. Since 1997, John has kept his pulse on home buying and home building trends. During this time, he has designed and engineered projects, secured prime buildable land and developed custom residential projects throughout southern California. He has spent years perfecting the entitlement process now enhanced with the modular state approval process which streamlines S²A Modular’s processing abilities. This process can take 12 months of processing time and cut in half.

As president and cofounder, John takes and cultivates vendor and supplier relations to ensure S²A maintains the best pricing and product selection, as well as vetting and handling contract negotiations with sub-contractors. Because of the strong relationships created during this process it has allowed John to secure exclusive contracts with suppliers such as FreeVolt Solar from Poland, one of S²A’s key sustainability partners. John is never happy with off-the-shelf components, and in many cases, he challenges the top engineers in the world to build to his desired spec positioning S²A as industry leaders in sustainability and organic building materials.

With a steadfast focus on engineering and building the most energy-efficient, renewable-energy smart homes, hotels, and multi-family buildings both domestically and internationally, John works to change the way homes are built inside and out utilizing low voltage components and organic building materials while achieving not only a Net Zero energy rating John’s newest line of sustainable engineered homes are actually “Net Positive” a term like “GREENLUX” coined by the S²A Team. John is also focused on ensuring S²A Modular meets critical Environmental  Social Governance (ESG) standards as a company.

Born and raised in Orange, California, John embraced the art of home building at a young age, learning from his father who built spec homes in Southern California. Shaping his career as a real estate developer, John attributes his expertise, successes and work ethic to his father Marvin Rowland.

In 2002, John moved from Orange County to Murrieta to entitle and develop land in the Inland Empire while training his two daughters, Lauren and Ashley, to carry on his legacy. John is a licensed real estate Broker in the state of California, a Licensed GC in the state of California and the premier engineer for energy-efficient homes in the state.
